Every structure we build in Moe is designed to suit the home it's attached to. Here's what we offer across the area.
Here is what Villafab works through before anything is approved.
Traralgon
Gippsland's largest town, with a wide mix of established homes and newer estates. Villafab builds across Traralgon's diverse blocks. From flat residential lots to sites with more complex roofline attachments.
See Traralgon ProjectsMorwell
Morwell's residential streets feature a strong mix of older character homes with generous block sizes. That means good space to work with. Plus, real attention needed on design fit and visual integration.
See Morwell ProjectsMoe
One of the Latrobe Valley's most established towns, with character-rich homes and generous backyard proportions. More than 61% of dwellings in Moe are owner-occupied. Homeowners here invest properly in their properties.
See Moe ProjectsWarragul
Baw Baw Shire's largest town is growing fast, with a strong mix of newer estates and established family homes. Warragul builds fall under Baw Baw Shire Council, with its own permit requirements. This is something Villafab handles end-to-end.
See Warragul ProjectsDrouin
Drouin's residential areas include newer suburban estates where design fit and visual integration matter most. The last thing you want is a pergola or verandah that looks out of place on a well-kept modern home.

South Gippsland homeowners are building outdoor spaces that work for real life. Structures suited to their blocks, their climate, and how the family actually uses the property.

Outdoor Living for Moe and Newborough's Established Homes
Moe and Newborough sit where the Valley floor starts lifting toward the hills. It is a green, settled part of Gippsland. Around the Botanic Gardens and the older streets, plenty of homes have been lived in and loved for decades. An outdoor build here is rarely about starting fresh. It is about finishing a home well, so the new space looks like it always belonged.
The established streets around Lloyd Street and George Street
The homes around Lloyd Street and George Street have settled into their gardens over the years. The trick on these blocks is matching the new work to what is already there. A verandah should pick up the lines of the existing roof and look like part of the original house. We show you the design in 3D first, so there are no surprises once it goes up.
Newborough and the family streets
Across in Newborough, the streets are full of practical family homes where the backyard gets used hard. A covered area turns an unused yard into a room the family actually lives in. Somewhere for meals, for the kids, for a quiet morning coffee. We handle the permits and council side, so you are not left chasing paperwork.
Around Edward Hunter Bush Reserve
Homes near the Edward Hunter Heritage Bush Reserve back onto real bushland and birdlife. The aim is not to shut it out. It is to give you a sheltered spot to enjoy it from. A well placed verandah or pergola frames the green and keeps the afternoon sun off, without turning the yard into a tunnel.
The heritage-fringe blocks near Old Gippstown
The blocks over near Old Gippstown carry a bit more character and established planting. Outdoor structures here need to feel considered, not tacked on at the last minute. Getting the proportions and materials right is what makes the finished result sit well for years, instead of dating the house.
Toward Lake Narracan and the edge of town
Out toward Lake Narracan and the edges of Moe, blocks open up and the land starts to rise. The aspect and the breeze change as you climb, so orientation matters more here. A bigger structure still has to look planned against the home. You get a fixed-price quote across the full scope, so the extra room never turns into an extra bill you did not agree to.
Ask us for a 3D design and a fixed-price quote before you commit.
Our process is built around one goal: getting you to a confident decision before any money changes hands or work begins.
Design consultation
We talk through your home, outdoor area, how you'll use the space, and which design directions make sense. No pressure.
3D design modelling
Before you approve anything, we model the structure of your actual home. Roofline, proportions, and materials are all visible before you commit.
Written quote with clear scope
A written quote with scope, inclusions, and timeline before any commitment. Plain language so you know what you're agreeing to.
Permits & approvals
We manage all council permits end-to-end. You don't decode the paperwork, that's our responsibility as your registered builder.
Build & completion
Built to the approved design with steady communication throughout. The result looks like it was always part of your home.

A big thankyou to both Colin and Jerry for organising / building our pergola. - It looks fantastic and only took a couple of days to put up. They handled all the paperwork (permit applications, etc.) and just took any stress out of the process. Very clear communication, professional and at a reasonable price. Honestly, would recommend these guys to anyone and very happy with the end result.

We love our patio.. great work to colin and gerry.. you did a great job. You guys are great to talk too.. The workmanship you did on the patio was 100%.. We have had a patio done before, with another company wasn't as great workmanship as this one.. We are both already enjoying it.. Thanks again Colin..

If you're comparing builders or trying to understand how our process works, these answers should help. Still unsure? Ask Villafab directly.
Yes. Your written quote sets out the scope, inclusions, and price before work starts. If something changes, we discuss it with you first. Any variation is agreed in writing before it happens. Nothing changes without your sign-off.
Most attached structures require a building permit through Latrobe City Council. We manage the full permit process for you. From application through to approval, you do not need to contact the council or handle any of the paperwork yourself.
In most cases, yes. We assess the existing slab or subframe during the design consultation to confirm what is suitable and what the attachment options are. This is worked out before we quote, not after.
Any change to the approved design is discussed with the homeowner first. Nothing is altered without sign-off and any variation is agreed in writing before work continues.
The first step is a conversation. No pressure, no hard sell. Tell Villafab about your home and outdoor area. They'll help you work out the right fit, what it would look like, what it would cost, and how the process works from here.
